FAQ

How do you pack collected dust into capsules?
Press the Q key once your handheld broom or canister reaches maximum capacity. Your astronaut will compact the collected dust into a portable capsule that can be carried or loaded onto conveyors.
How do you turn on night vision or helmet lights?
Press the N key to toggle your helmet nightlight or Night Vision Goggles. Night vision requires purchasing the goggle upgrade from the base dispensary for $350.
How does Move Mode work in Patch 1.0.5?
Aim your building tool at an existing structure and press R. This picks up the building and everything on top of it, allowing you to reposition it anywhere for free without demolishing. Connected conveyor belts automatically adjust.
How do you copy rotation and style from existing buildings?
Aim at an existing piece with your building tool equipped and click the Middle Mouse Button. This acts as an eyedropper tool, copying the exact rotation, elevation, and style variant.
How do you adjust conveyor belt height when building?
Hold Ctrl and scroll your Mouse Wheel up or down while placing conveyor belts to adjust their vertical height snap points without needing manual scaffolding.

Mastering the keybinds in Moon Sweepers is essential for maintaining a fast cleaning pace, navigating pitch-black lunar nights, and efficiently placing complex conveyor infrastructure. While standard movement follows conventional WASD controls, several action and construction hotkeys—including the new Patch 1.0.5 building tools—are critical for advanced automation.

For early progression strategies, review our beginner guide, explore equipment upgrades in the tools guide, or see our base building guide for layout blueprints.
